History

The Greater Community AIDS Project was organized as a not-for-profit corporation in 1985 and is governed by a Board of Directors who volunteer their time. The mission of the Greater Community AIDS Project has remained the same: To provide HIV/AIDS information and education to the community and to provide support services for persons affected by HIV/AIDS. The goal of the organization is to continue to server the community with sound, accurate, current information and HIV prevention education and to maintain and expand our support service programs to those persons who are living with HIV/AIDS and their families.
